Work completed as follows:

Removed tiled roof;
Added top storey and large deck
Open plan living, kitchen, dining room;
Large study, bathroom and laundry;
New timber floors;
Curved wide open stairwell;
Rendered existing brick house;
New top storey built of timber and clad with harditex blue board then painted with murabond paint;
Top storey addition has raked open ceiling.

Approximate cost of job including PC items and GST $330,000

Building duration – 7 months

Special features pertaining to job
Access difficult;
Steep walk up sandstone stairs 150 metres from street to top of job;
Limited storage for materials and equipment.
